THE Two Six Fitness STORY
Kim Yawitz, RD, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer - OWNER
Kim was recognized her senior year of high school for having the least natural athletic ability of any student her gym teacher had ever coached (but she tried really hard, hence the award). She always tells people, if she can do CrossFit, anyone can do CrossFit.
She reluctantly joined CrossFit 26 (now Two Six Fitness) after the birth of her third child in 2014, loved it so much she began coaching in early 2018, and assumed ownership of the gym in 2019.
In addition to owning Two Six Fitness and coaching group classes, Kim is also a registered dietitian nutritionist and the author of the Renaissance Periodization book Nutrition for Pregnancy and Breastfeeding. She’s been featured as a nutrition subject matter expert for the Food Network, Reader’s Digest, Elite Daily, Simplemost, Eat This Not That, Everyday Health, SHAPE, the Vitamin Shoppe, and other publications.
She loves to cook and read in her spare time.

Gary Kreitler
COACH
CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
Gary's CrossFit journey started nine years ago right here at CrossFit 26 and he's never looked back. His sole reason for getting into CrossFit was that the methodology was transferable to his career as a paramedic/firefighter. His CrossFit philosophy is to have fun with friends and get a little fitter every day.

Elizabeth Reid
COACH
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
Ten years into a corporate career without paying attention to her health, Elizabeth decided it was time for a change. She cleaned up my diet, started exercising and bounced around a couple of local gyms. After seeing the 2013 CrossFit games on television, she decided she HAD to try that. She thought she'd join 26 for 2 months and then move on (seriously). Eight years later, she's still hooked!
Elizabeth loves sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with all of our members. She believes that joining 26 has improved so many areas of my life. Her health has improved, she’s gained an awesome group of great friends, and her confidence and belief in herrself that grows from learning new skills has spread into all aspects of her life. She’d love the opportunity to cheer you on and help you find your inner, and outer, strength.

Victoria Carter
COACH
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
Victoria, A full-time college student and dance teacher, discovered CrossFit while searching for a new way to stay active post-pandemic. She immediately fell in love with the triumphs and challenges of the sport itself, but fell harder for the amazing community that embodies Two Six Fitness. After a few competitions and completion of her CF-L1, CrossFit had become a full-blown addiction. She's always ready to cheer on her community during a tough WOD, offer up some coaching tips, and pretty much down for any workout, as long as it doesn't include running…or the echo bike. If not at the gym, Victoria is usually at the dance studio or enjoying a good book.

Terrell Carter
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
Terrell was introduced to CrossFit by his twin brother who is also an L1 Trainer. His goal as a coach is to learn as much as he can about each athlete he works with so he can understand them and help them achieve their fitness goals. His favorite thing about CrossFit is that he gets to work out with his daughter, Coach Victoria.

Megan McQuitty
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
Megan discovered CrossFit by attending a bring a friend day at another gym, but stayed at 26 because of the people and the community! A Board Certified Behavior Analyst who works with kids with autism by day, Megan maintains an active lifestyle to keep up with the kids at work and her two huskies. She's so happy to be a part of an amazing team dedicated to helping people achieve their fitness goals!

Lindsay Peterman
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
Lindsay has been doing CrossFit for three years, inspired by a conversation with her best friend, also a gym member, she went to her wanting to change her lifestyle to better her health mentally and physically. When Alisha suggested Lindsay join her CrossFit gym, Lindsay thought Alisha was absolutely insane. Three years later, we can't get rid of Lindsay. 😉 CrossFit also inspired Lindsay to participate in a powerlifting meet and really take interest in strength training. Lindsay loves themed workouts and costume competitions, and enjoys pranking her fellow coaches by hiding "surprises" around the gym. Outside the gym, Lindsay is a dental hygienist and a proud dog mom to her pups, Dude and Gage.
