High-Protein Peppermint Shake (Better Than Chick-fil-A’s!)

The Chick-fil-A Peppermint Milkshake is back today, and don’t get me wrong—it’s delicious. But our high-protein peppermint shake gives all the holiday vibes without the 94 grams of sugar or the need for stretchy pants afterward.

How the High-Protein Peppermint Shake Was Born

This recipe came out of a session with one of my nutrition clients who couldn’t stop thinking about the Chick-fil-A Peppermint Milkshake (seriously, what is it about that shake?!).

At first, we were trying to figure out how many milkshakes she could enjoy while still hitting her goals. But then I thought—why not just make a version that tastes amazing and actually supports your goals?

The high-protein peppermint shake was born.

Now, that same client has one every day in November and December—and hasn’t touched the Chick-fil-A version since. Not because she “can’t,” but because this one checks every box: indulgent flavor, great macros, zero guilt.

High-Protein Peppermint Shake Recipe

Yield: 1 shake
Prep time: <5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Fairlife Nonfat Milk
  • 2–3 pumps Torani Sugar-Free Peppermint Syrup
  • 1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 scoop Level-1 Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored collagen powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon xanthan gum powder
  • 15 ice cubes
  • Optional: 2–3 handfuls raw spinach (you won’t even taste it!)

Instructions:
Blend all ingredients on high until frothy. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
Optional: Crush a peppermint disc on top for a festive finish.
